Join us for a panel discussion with members of Aravani Art Project and the curators at Gallery XXL who will introduce the exhibition, speak about its foundation and their practice over the past decade, testimonies collected in the process of presenting works and expand on how art as an occupation on the streets as well as in institutions has led the Aravani to delve into the nuances of trans-ness in order to break open multitudes of realities which are local, intersectional, and joyous. The participants will learn how art for the collective has become a powerful tool and will jolt the viewers into a reflective ground which transgress norms entailing gender, sexuality, family, work and gaps that exist between individuals, a community and the society at large.
