The project’s first presentation, Ancient Sculptures: India Egypt Assyria Greece Rome is a transcontinental endeavour that brings together – the CSMVS, The J. Paul Getty Museum, the British Museum and Statliche Museen zu Berlin for the first time alongside museums from India to showcase magnificent works of art from the ancient world. A the event will include a special walkthrough with Vaidehi Savnal (Curator, Education & Public Programmes) from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya of the very special exhibition 'Ancient Sculptures: India Egypt Assyria Greece Rome' follows from 3 – 3:30 P.M.
